I discovered this program when my 36 year old step-daughter lost 62 pounds in 6 months, and a 67 year old friend who did the same program lost 40 pounds and was able to go off of her cholesterol and blood pressure medication.  Since my cholesterol was steadily rising I decided to try the program and see if, by losing the 10 pounds I’d gained in the past 10 years, I could lower my cholesterol.  Sure enough – 3 weeks later I was 10 pounds lighter and my cholesterol improved twenty points.  I am now a health coach with this company and help others reach their healthy weight and develop the habits of health that will keep the weight off permanently.

I support my clients in learning to eat 6 low-glycemic, portion-controlled meals a day.  Most of us have heard that eating many small meals throughout the day is the healthy way to eat, but do we?  Many of us would say “It’s challenging enough to find the time to prepare 3 meals a day – no way do I have the time to prepare 6 healthy meals a day!”  I offer my clients a quick and easy solution to healthy eating that results in an average weight loss of 2-5 pounds a week. At the same time you will be learning the habits that will enable you to keep the weight off permanently and reach your level of optimal health. And this program is incredibly affordable!

Ann has lived on Bainbridge with her husband and daughter for 17 years.  She was a lawyer for 14 years, a teacher, and a school administrator and has never had more fun or more of a sense of really making a difference in people’s lives than she does now as a health coach with Take Shape for Life.
